Tanner Designs LLC is a small kitchen design firm in Santa Clara, California owned by Cathy Tanner. Cathy spent several years in the environmental chemistry industry, but upon purchasing her first home, she realized how fun and rewarding interior design was! She went back to school to obtain an Interior Design Certificate from UC Santa Cruz and immediately took a job with a high end interior design firm in Palo Alto. After designing high end interiors for about 3 years, Cathy took a job at a local kitchen showroom and found her true passion. The combination of creating beautiful spaces with the incredible detail required for a great kitchen design is truly rewarding!

Cathy’s excellent communication skills are key to a successful kitchen remodel. Cathy listens carefully to her client’s needs and desires to create the beautiful functional kitchen of their dreams. After listening carefully and guiding her clients through numerous design choices, Cathy documents the plans in writing for easy communication to contractors, vendors and inspectors. Cathy’s 10 years of experience helps avoid common mistakes to ensure your projects runs smoothly.
