This open kitchen was opened even more by eliminating the peninsula cabinets and extending the island with a wood top creating a dining area. The monkeypod wood used here is repeated in the adjacent bar area. A large pantry was relocated to make room for the spacious bar. The appliances were built in and paneled to create a clean look and large drawers provide ample storage. The style was updated with warm contemporary finishes: walnut and laminate flat panel cabinets with granite, quartz and wood countertops; granite slab backsplash and elegant lighting bring in the glamour.
